As a freelancer, I have been on safari, held seahorses and porcupines, learned the ancient Hawaiian craft of ipu making, and climbed aboard numerous steam engines. I write for national and regional magazines, and my byline has appeared in publications such as Islands, FamilyFun, and Parenting. I have penned features, monthly columns, essays, travel stories, how-tos, and articles on food, arts, crafts, education, and family life.

The author of several non-fiction books for kids, I strive to engage my readers through hands-on activities, whether they are learning leadership skills or delving into ancient and American history.

I’m a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and Author’s Guild.

I’ve never missed a deadline. How can I help you?
